FOUR SEASONS

"TIS WINTERTIME...let it snow..let it snow..let it snow...

You know how it is when you have lived all your life in a tropical country? There are only two weather/climates you get used to...,extremely WET or DRY... but after probably being in denial living here in the States for the first 2 years, YES., in denial. I denied myself to enjoy the beauty of what was going on around me, or I was too engrossed with other things that I missed Mother nature passing alon...It is only now that I have truly appreciated it. Its now winter time (Officially on DEC 21) This year, I allowed myself to enjoy the changing of the seasons.

Nung dumating si Madush last May, dahil nag aalangan pa sya sa lower temperature of the Northern area, sabi ko sa kanya, dapat matapang kang haharapin dahil pag dating ng winter, mas malamig. Akala ni Madush hindi sya tatagal dito hanggang winter. Last weekend, , Madush, Tessa and I, had our own private bonding. Nag outlet stores kami! We, as usual were rushing shopping in spite of the storm, dahil the next day, kailngan na naming ipadala ang mga cards and gifts to Manila. And guess what, MAY BAGYO nung weekend. So relaxing na namamasyal from 9:30 am ha till 10:30 pm eh naglalakwacha kami. Training weekend ni Gau so female bonding kaming tatlo. Nakaktuwa si Madush. Gau forced him to buy a good rain thick jacket at refusing sya to use it kasi mabigat daw...but last weekend, nakasanayan na nyang hindi mag-payong! dahil wala ngang nagpapayaong dito in spite of the rain. so En Vogue ang madush ha..

But going back, The trees lining our street are now barren of leaves. Seems like its branches are looking up into the sky and welcoming all the rain it could drink...so the roots could be filled up with nourishment to prepare the tree for spring. I used to look at winter as very sad. But now, I see the beauty of the barren trees, all lined up like soldiers braving the rain along the street...and winter now gives me the assurance that in a few weeks time, the trees will blossom and will be filled up with leaves again...winter assures me that spring is coming near.... the season of rebirth. ....
